On the ground floor of the Heritage Centre you will find a collection of genuine vintage penny arcade machines, in a setting made to represent a Victorian seaside pier as would have been found all along the coast of England. Pop a pound in the change machine to get your old pennies and play these working machines just as they would have been. Mechanised models like the Bellringers, machines to test your strength and skills, what the Butler Saw ! and don’t forget Barnacle Bill – The Laughing Sailor.
